The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host the first public meeting on the Fountain Wind Project on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 2:00 – 10:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Gaia Hotel in Anderson, California.
During this scoping and informational meeting, staff will describe CEC’s role and responsibilities in reviewing the application and engaging with government agencies, California Native American Tribes, neighboring communities, and the public. The project applicant will present its proposed plans for constructing and operating the facility. The CEC’s Public Advisor will describe how interested members of the public can participate in the process, including during environmental review and decision-making.
